Before Piedmont, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at NCM Capital Management Group, managing over $6 billion worth of fixed income and equity assets, and also managed the portfolios of New Africa Advisor Funds and NAOF Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) Private Equity Fund totaling over $200 million. From 1986 to 1990, he served as Assistant Vice President and Analyst at First Union National Bank (Wells Fargo).
Clifford D. Mpare is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Management Accountant. He received his MBA at Dalhousie University, Canada, in 1982, and Bachelors degree from St. Mary's University. He was Assistant Professor at Wingate University between 1983 and 1986 and currently lectures Pension Fund Trustees at the AUCC Pensions Academy.
He also led the Golden Jubilee Savings Bonds project that raised $20 million for the Ghana government. While still at SAS, he managed the rights issue of Pioneer Kitchenware Limited. Ken served as the Operations Manager of Sloan Financial Group in the USA between 1993 and 2000, and also served as the Financial Systems Consultant for Africa.com.
Kenneth O. Mpare has an MBA from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons) from the Univesity of Ghana.
Aside helping to manage the investment bank's operational risk in the area of swaps trades, Edith also helped the bank identify and develop strategic investment opportunities in Africa.
As Manager of Group Sales/Marketing at Euromoney Company Investors between 1999 and 2005, Edith managed to sell over 5,000 products to businesses and individuals.
Edith A. Kufuor holds a BBA from Bournemouth University in England. She is a board member for Africa University College of Communications (AUCC), Scanbech and Caribbean Atlantic.
Before his stint at Morgan Stanley, Nii Kote Nikoi served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the PIA Program at Merrill Lynch in Washington DC between 2001 and 2010. The years between 1996 and 2001 also saw the veteran consultant at Calvert New Africa Fund and New Africa Advisors. He was the Vice President of the latter company which was also based in North Carolina, USA.
Nii Kote Nikoi is an expert consultant regarded for his ability to nurture trust and build long-lasting strategic partnerships between investors and their fund managers. He was a Research Assistant at the IMF between 1985 and 1996. Nii Kote Nikoi is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MBA from Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA. He has a BA in Mathematics from Amherst College USA.
